How to order online
First access the CIP Germplasm Ordering System
Step by step guide to order
This page instructs you to go through the germplasm ordering system.
1. Select descriptors
Select descriptors to use to find material, then click Proceed(at the bottom of the list)
2. Enter a value for each descriptor
Enter a value for each descriptor, then click Proceed
3. System lists the material
The system lists the material that matches your descriptors
4. Select material
To select material, click its box under Add to Cart. When you’ve finished making selections, click Next (above the list of material)
5. View the material
View the material in your cart, then click Next
6. Enter user name and password
On the User Registration page, enter your user name and password, then click Submit
If you are a new user, click the New User link, enter your information, then click Submit
When your cart reappears, click Next
7. Review your order information
Review your order information to be sure it’s correct. Make any necessary changes.
8. Indicate how the material is used
In the middle of the page, indicate how your material will be used.
Read the Standard Material Transfer Agreement (SMTA), and then click I read.
If your germplasm is for breeding, research, training for agriculture, or cultivation:
- Select the method of acceptance.
- Select the form of payments.
- View the non-privacy agreement, then click I agree.
9. Agree and Submit
Click I agree to the above conditions, and then click Submit.
You will receive an email to confirm that your order has been received.
