Biography

Barikisu Gruzah is a dedicated agricultural professional and community facilitator based in Cherepon District, Ghana. Barikisu holds a BSc in Agribusiness Management and extensive experience in farm management, training, and project coordination. Responsible for training vine multipliers and overseeing the distribution of Orange-Fleshed Sweetpotato (OFSP) vines to farmers in Chereponi, Saboba, and Gushegu districts. Barikisu conducted training on sustainable agricultural practices and facilitated market linkages. Project Field Officer, Degas Ghana Limited. He managed input financing programs in Yendi Municipal, digitally enrolling and supporting hundreds of farmers and distributed farm inputs and conducted capacity-building sessions on agronomic practices. Agricultural Extension Agent, Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MoFA). He also educated farmers on good agronomic practices and digitally registered farming activities under the NABCO Feed Ghana Module. Barikisu Gruzah’s career reflects a commitment to enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable practices, and empowering rural communities in Ghana.
