Biography
Diego Naziri is a value chain and postharvest specialist based in Hanoi, Vietnam. He obtained a Ph.D. in Sustainable Development and International Cooperation from Sapienza University of Rome. Diego has more than eighteen years of working experience in socio-economic research on the transformation, sustainability, and resilience of agri-food systems in the tropics. His main research interest lies in analyzing agricultural development problems and solutions, with a focus on value chains, postharvest management, participatory methodologies for linking farmers to markets, crop-livestock-fish system integration, trade-related policies, agricultural innovation systems, innovation management and sharing, and the management of complex research in development partnerships and multi-agency projects.
