Biography

Dorcas Amunga is a research associate and nutritionist based in Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a Masters in Nutritional Sciences from Stellenbosch University, South Africa, earned in 2015. Her interests are centered around the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs on nutrition-sensitive agriculture, maternal and young child nutrition, and food environments. Dorcas has over ten years of experience working in humanitarian and development settings in low- and middle-income countries. Her work primarily focuses on community-based interventions aimed at promoting social and behavior change for healthier diets and improved nutrition outcomes for vulnerable population groups.
