Biography
Javier Rinza is a research associate based in Lima, Peru. He holds a degree in Physics with a master’s degree in applied meteorology. Currently, he works as an Assistant Researcher in the area of Regenerative Agriculture at CIP. His research lines are related to the efficient use of water in crops, with an emphasis on crop temperature, proximal sensing, carbon footprint, and Conservation Agriculture. He has experience in using techniques for measuring water requirements and monitoring crops in small-scale agriculture.
