Biography

Economist and M.Sc. in Agricultural Economics with 30 years of experience in activities related to the fields of Agribusiness, Research and Innovation, Project Management, Agrarian Policy, Agricultural Marketing and Business Management. His work experience combines work in the private sector, international technical cooperation organizations and consulting to the public sector. At CIP he has managed various projects with the value chain approach. Likewise, he has coordinated projects with a focus on food and nutritional security, articulating various public and private actors. He is recognized for his contribution to the revaluation of biodiversity both on the commercial field and in food safety. He has more than 80 publications, in different national and international media. The projects that he has coordinated, at CIP and other institutions have been awarded nationally (Peru) and internationally (FONTAGRO, IDB, United Nations, BBC, WB) for the impact and sustainability they achieved.
