Biography
Rosemary Gatimu is a research assistant based in Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. from Kenyatta University. She has worked on tissue culture, virus elimination in sweet potato, and germplasm distribution. Rosemary has experience with in vitro multiplication and the development of protocols for over twenty plant species. Her passions include germplasm distribution, which has alleviated hunger and malnutrition in Africa. Rosemary enjoys supporting younger generations by training them in tissue culture to gain hands-on experience.
