CIP at Virtual Knowledge Forum on Sustainable Food Systems

Join the International Potato Center (CIP) at the Virtual Knowledge Forum on Sustainable Food Systems, part of the StEPPFoS project, which brings together policymakers, researchers, and development partners from across Africa. 

In this 30-minute Innovation Showcase, CIP will present its work on biotech potato innovation for late blight resistance, highlighting how this technology: 

  • Strengthens resilience among potato farmers
  • Reduces crop losses
  • Supports sustainable and inclusive food systems 

The session will share insights from the journey from research to regulatory approval and deployment, with relevance for policymakers, practitioners, and researchers.
