Dr. Kadian hold a PhD in Botany. He has 32 years of working experience on potato crop in many countries (Afghanistan, Pakistan, Srilanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Bengladesh, India, SWCA region). He worked as PI and collaborator on diversified bilateral and core funded projects in the region and published large number of research publications in refreed journals and books. Awards: i) 2010: Member Research Advisory Committee (RAC) for Central Potato Research Institute of ICAR (Government of India); ii) 2007: Distinguished scientist of the Indian Potato Association; iii) 2005: Scientists of the CGIAR Award 2005; iv) 2004: King Baudouin Award 2004. At present he is managing two bilateral projects: ICAR funded by Government of India and ADA funded for Nepal/Bhutan and DS (CRP1.1) - SA-India.
