The @Cipotato genebank conserves more than 4,800 unique potato accessions and has shared more than 1,500 to them with potato-farming communities in the Peruvian Andes to replace varieties they’d lost.

A study in 65 of those communities documents the benefits of this reintroduction of native potato biodiversity.
