“International Day of Potato” Publicity Campaign in China

From May 20 to 30, with the support of the China Chain Store & Franchise Association’s “Green Sustainable Consumption Week” campaign, the CIP-China Center for Asia Pacific (CCCAP) and the FAO Representation in China jointly launched a public service announcement by placing “INTERNATIONAL DAY OF POTATO” posters in nearly 500 supermarkets across more than 40 cities nationwide. This initiative aimed to bring “INTERNATIONAL DAY OF POTATO” directly into the sight of potato consumers. Participating supermarkets in this public promotion included FRESHIPPO, Olé Boutique Supermarkets, and Jiajiayue Group.

This campaign successfully brought “International Day of Potato ” into the spotlight for general consumers through effective publicity and promotional strategies, and enhanced public awareness and participation in the event.
