CIP at International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture
The International Potato Center (CIP) is honored to participate in the International Treaty on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (Plant Treaty) Meeting, a global forum dedicated to safeguarding the world’s crop diversity and ensuring its fair and sustainable use.
At CIP, we are committed to preserving and utilizing the genetic diversity of potato and sweetpotato to address today’s most pressing challenges in food security, nutrition, and climate resilience. During the Plant Treaty Meeting, we will contribute scientific expertise and share insights on how root and tuber crops play a critical role in building resilient food systems for the future.
We invite you to follow CIP’s engagement at the Plant Treaty Meeting as we work alongside global partners to strengthen the conservation and sustainable use of plant genetic resources. Together, through collaboration and science, we can protect crop diversity and support a more secure and resilient food future for all.
