To commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Potato News Today wishes to honour the invaluable contributions of the many talented and dedicated women in the field of potato research and related fields.
While it is impossible to name them all, most of us know one or more of these women who was – or still is – working in our country or local community. These women have brought their unique perspectives, skills, and expertise to the industry, often helping to tackle and solve complex scientific problems, deepen our understanding of the potato plant, and enhance the lives of potato farmers and consumers worldwide.
