Biography

Verónica Valencia is a Research Assistant based in Lima, Peru. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Botany. Verónica has experience in the molecular biology and bioinformatics of tuber crops such as potatoes and sweet potatoes, especially in Andean Root and Tuber Crops (ARTCs). She started her work at CIP in 2016, and she is interested in biodiversity, virus-cleaning techniques, and automation for bioinformatics.
