World Potato Congress Inc (WPC), based on Prince Edward Island in Canada, announced the past week that it has appointed two new Directors to its Board, and added five new International Advisors. Dr. André Devaux from Belgium has been appointed as one of the new Directors. Prior to being appointed as a WPC Director, Dr. Devaux was named as an International Advisor with WPC Inc. in 2018. He is currently leading WPC Inc’s ‘International Potato Day’ project. He is Scientist Emeritus, International Potato Center (CIP).
