Biography

Barivola Hariniaina is an agricultural extension research assistant in the AMS project of the Mionjo Project Madagascar based in Ampanihy. He has a master’s degree in management and business administration. In 2018, Barivola was a business advisor responsible for the Handicraft and Cassava sector in the PROSPERER Program in Haute Matsiatra, Madagascar. In 2020, he was a business advisor in charge of the orange-fleshed sweet potato sector in the PROSPERER Program in Haute Matsiatra, Madagascar. In that program he was responsible for promoting and developing the orange-fleshed sweet potato sector. In 2022, Barivola held the position of agricultural management advisor at Agrisud International in the SANUVA project in Antsirabe, Madagascar. He is particularly interested in working on the development of agricultural value chains and in direct contact with producers.
