Biography

Malena Apaza is a Junior Scientist based in Lima, Peru. Malena is conducting research at the Hans Rutenberg Institute, which is part of Hohenheim University. Her current project focuses on characterizing sweetpotato through the hormesis phenomenon under hydroponic conditions. Highly motivated, Malena is committed to developing innovative research that contributes to global food security by improving staple crops.
