Biography
Angela Fuentes is an innovation and entrepreneurship specialist based in Lima, Peru. She holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Territorial Development and a bachelor’s degree in economics. She has experience leading entrepreneurship and innovation programs in Peru, focusing on sustainable business models, agrifood systems, and biobusiness. Skilled as a startup trainer applying methodologies such as Lean Startup and Design Thinking, she also has experience in incubators’ strategic management. She joined CIP in 2023, where she leads the innovation component in the Resilient Cities Initiative. Here, she organizes and leads innovation programs for young scientists and entrepreneurs focused on biobusiness and agrifood business models, as well as addressing challenges within agrifood systems and nutrition. She is interested in food innovations, biobusiness, and the circular economy.
