Biography

Evelyne Kihiu is an agricultural economist based in Nairobi, Kenya. She holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the University of Bonn and is currently a researcher at CIP. Evelyne is a development economist with experience in conducting development research, quantitative analyses, including ex-ante and ex-post impact analysis, and public policy research. Her current research focuses on food security; agricultural policy; natural resources, ecosystem services, and environmental quality; social development, including gender and youth; inequality and poverty; growth and development. Evelyne is a member of the International Association of Agricultural Economists, the Agricultural Economics Society, Environment for Development (EfD) Kenya, and is an Africa Research & Impact Network (ARIN) Fellow.
